Work With Our Expert Team in Bellingham, WA

Our expert team of clinicians have advanced, specialized training in pelvic health, a strong orthopedic foundation and use a whole body approach to help you finding lasting relief. We are committed to challenging the status quo of physical therapy care by offering 1-hour appointments which are one-on-one with your therapist. All of our clinicians have advanced manual therapy and pelvic health training in addition to a strong orthopedic foundation and will spend the entire hour with you providing direct hands-on care each session. At Connect NW Physical Therapy & Wellness, your therapist always has your best interest in mind and will provide you with resources you need outside of physical therapy treatment when necessary.

Finding the “Drivers” Behind Your Sympt0ms

In order to achieve lasting relief and long term results, we must address all the factors contributing to your symptoms. This is why advanced training in pelvic health is important- we can assess the entire body including the structures inside and around the pelvis to find the root cause of your symptoms.

Both pelvic health and most orthopedic conditions are complex and multifactorial and require assessment of the whole person. Effective care requires a thorough assessment and a combination of manual therapy, assessment of joint biomechanics, movement analysis, strength and coordination training, and education about pain and psychosocial factors contributing to symptoms. Our team at Connect NW Physical Therapy & Wellness will help you identify and treat all factors contributing to your symptoms, so you can live life and do what you love!

Pelvic Health Experts

As pelvic health experts, our clinicians have advanced training in direct assessment of the muscles, nerves, organs and connective tissue inside and surrounding the pelvis. Direct assessment of the pelvic floor and surrounding organs/tissues gives us additional information to apply to our general orthopedic findings for a more thorough and complete assessment and treatment approach. We have extensive training in pelvic floor assessment, manual therapy techniques/visceral mobilization and training in behavioral and psychosocial factors involved in pelvic health conditions. Most of our patients have been to multiple practitioners before finding relief with pelvic floor physical therapy.

Supportive Care

Combining clinical expertise with an empowering and safe environment, we strive to provide the type of support and care we would want for our own friends and family. We also believe in working collaboratively with other experts and professionals in the field and will work to help you build your support team of practitioners for a more holistic approach to health and wellness.
